Rhinoplasty

We provide an incredible experience for individuals seeking cosmetic surgery.  Our Plastic Surgery Center is truly “state-of-the-art” and the atmosphere is more like a spa than a doctor’s office.  We specialize in non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures.  And when a surgical procedure is required, we have a certified and accredited operating room on-site.  Best of all, the techniques we use enable most patients to quickly return to their daily routine with minimal discomfort!  We have many satisfied customers that we can provide as referrals.

RHINOPLASTY

I perform both “Open” and “Closed” rhinoplasty techniques. For secondary rhinoplasty procedures, I almost always recommend the “Open” technique. In my experience the “Open” technique provides for optimal control.  I also usually stabilize the cartilage with suturing techniques – this reduces cartilage deformation and helps to ensure a good long-term result.

Also, if airflow through the nose is restricted I can perform a septoplasty or turbinate procedure at the time of the rhinoplasty procedure to improve nasal breathing.

RECOVERY

Most patients do not have significant pain after a rhinoplasty.  Actually, it is not unusual for the tip of the nose to be numb following the procedure.

The recovery time and requirements differ from patient to patient and depends on the amount of work performed.  However, most rhinoplasty patients wear a splint for a full week.  Although bruising is typically resolved within a week, bruising and swelling can be more significant in patients who have a hump/bump that they want removed.  Because of these issues, many patients take 7-10 days off of work following this procedure.  However, if you have a desk job and do not mind being seen with some bruising, you may be able to return to work in half that time.

Bottom line…unless you only want/need very minor changes, expect to have a full week of social “down time”.

PRICE

There is some variability to the price of rhinoplasty.  The cost factors are:

  • Type of rhinoplasty (tip only, tip and bone, wide ala)
  • History of prior rhinoplasty
  • Need for anesthesia (sedated or asleep)
  • Correction of deviated septum
  • Need for cartilage grafting
  • Need for other types of grafting

However, most patients spend $4,000 – $6,000 for all charges related to this procedure.

DISCOUNTS and FINANCING

Multi-procedure discounts are available.  For example, when patients combine a rhinoplasty procedure with a chin augmentation or neck liposuction, the entire fee is less than if the procedures were performed separately.

We have financing plans available that can help make even more expensive procedures become very affordable.
